For five years after graduating from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, animation artist Péter Bogyó worked mostly from home, and his occasional walks meant to him a connection to the outside world. These walks not only served as a form of relaxation but also triggered a process of gaining deeper self-awareness. Due to the isolation of working from home, every time he stepped onto the street felt like a fresh experience, which he approached with an outsider’s perspective. The exhibited works reflect the small discoveries and feelings found during these walks. The alienated, surreal drawings from his sketchbook were adapted digitally. The self-awareness gained through the walks gradually and unnoticeably made its way into the artist’s animations as well. These impressions will also appear at the exhibition.
