Let's create animated stories! In the Primanima Animation Fun Zone, on the occasion of the 111th anniversary of Hungarian animation, participants can bring their own stories to life using the tools of stop-motion animation. The children can feature classic Hungarian cartoon characters, but newly invented characters and locations can also be added to the story. The film’s protagonist can work with Cat City's Grabowski, or team up with Lucrécia and Szerénke to play practical jokes on Frakk. During the 90-minute sessions, the diverse world of animation serves as a foundation for developing creativity. Animation is all about teamwork, where everyone has their own essential role — only by working together can the characters be brought to life. Through the shared creative process involving intense concentration, kids will naturally start to pay more attention to the details happening on the stop-motion table, and to
the ideas and work of their teammates. The goal is the same: to create something together. Through playful exercises, children can learn how to use digital tools creatively, while instructors also reintroduce them to the fascinating world of traditional materials and techniques. There is an opportunity to try out a variety of animation techniques, including matchstick, hand-drawn, puppet, clay, Lego, and paper-cut animation. The Primanima Animation Fun Zone is a professional studio equipped with modern
computers, cameras, lighting, and stop-motion tables, where experienced art educators and animators from Primanima guide participants in their creative work.
The sessions will be led by Ádám Miklós, Zsolt Szekrényes, Csenge Rác, Nikolett Götz
