Boldimó's cheerful fiddle music fills the air at the Gypsy camp by the lake. The evil water fairy does not share in their joy, however. She offers the people great riches if they agree to give up music and dancing. The scared Gypsy King accepts the offer with a heavy heart, and by morning, the whole camp is rolling in wealth. But how long will this joy last?
