Csaba Varga came a long way in the world of animated film. Once an amateur filmmaker from Pécs, he became an internationally recognised professional star. He was the first to break free from the constraints of state-run animation production by establishing his own studio in Budapest. His animated films have achieved considerable international acclaim. He also demonstrated his original talent through his linguistic research and books. In this portrait film, friends and colleagues recall the artist, who passed away in 2012.
