Dr. Erzsébet Bujdosóné Dani

She is a habilitated associate professor at the University of Debrecen, researcher at the Institute of Media and Library Sciences, head of the Department of Library and Information Science, and since 2021, director of the Katona József Library. Her research areas include various dimensions of reading research, cultural identity, cultural institution history, and the dissemination of scientific results. She has authored two monographs and two textbooks, and also develops university course materials. She is a representative of the Hungarian system of public collections, and has been a plenary speaker at numerous Hungarian and international conferences. She is involved in several EU projects in the areas of curriculum development for e-learning, AI and Big Data, among others. She is a member of the editorial advisory board of the Journal of Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics, contributes to the work of the AI Ethics Committee of the University of Debrecen, is a board member of the József Katona Library Foundation, and is involved in the work of Kecskeméti Television’s supervisory board.
