Dr. Norberta Sági

Teacher, ethnographer, associate professor at the John von Neumann University. She completed her university studies at the József Attila University in Szeged, specializing in Ethnography and Cultural History. She taught ethnographic studies and folk traditions in the Teaching and Early Childhood Education programmes at the Faculty of Education of the John von Neumann University in Kecskemét for nearly 20 years. She also specialises in early childhood foreign language education and methodology. She has led professional training courses in the subject, and peer-reviewed textbooks. Since 2019, she has been vice rector for education at the John von Neumann University, focusing on teaching methodologies for higher education, in connection to which she has also gained vast international educational experience. Throughout her career, she has recognised the importance of visual learning, and as an ethnographer she strives to capture stories through photography and ethnographic film.
